Midget Travel Players


Tryouts: all Midget (including final AA)

Please arrive at least 1/2 hour early to sign in and dress, and bring both a light colored and a dark jersey.

Midget AA early tryouts for 2008/2009 season - Results
There are 5 remaining roster positions. All players are invited to an additional try-out in August to compete for these remaining positions.


The following names are those selected for the initial "core" group of players. This "core" concept is not new and has been implemented in other regions of the country. Players not on this list have 4 additional months to focus and train. In the past, the only try-out has been in August.

Players are encouraged (but not required) to participate in the Iceland Summer Elite League. This league is an outstanding means to enhance individual skills, team play, and conditioning. Besides our team, primarily consisting of Midget level skaters, other teams in the league include; U of K, U of L, LHC and others. All players should attempt to remain proficient and in shape whether competing in this league or by other alternatives. The Elite League commences on May 8th and will conclude in late July. Games are on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Contact Don Burton at Iceland for registration or questions.

At this time, plans for an additional Midget level team are still pending and will be finalized in August.

Being named to this core group does not constitute an unconditional guarantee to your roster position throughout the entire season. The potential exists for a double roster scenario, or suspension if players do not comply with USA hockey rules or rules outlined by The Louisville Stallions Hockey Club. For example: illegal drug or alcohol use, or other behavioral or motivational issues, may result in a suspension.
